What is Cocktail Roads ?

Cocktail Roads was founded by Daphnée Vary Deshaies and Roxanne Mailloux, otherwise known as Daphnee Dee and Cocktails en Folly.

Being both professionals of the hospitality industry, they lost their jobs due to covid-19 in March 2020. They decided to bring together their respective skills and talents in a photo-reportage that would shine the light on the Canadian Cocktail community, all the while allowing people to connect and be creative at a time when most bars & restaurants across the country were closed.

On July 1st 2020, they left their beloved apartment in Montreal, packed a photo studio, portable bar and camping gear in their small hatchback and embarked on a journey across Canada to interview all sorts of cocktail professionals. They travelled from coast to coast and reached the Pacific in October. They decided to set base in Vancouver for the winter and to wait until it was safe to travel again to pursue the interview process. They are still in Vancouver to this day.
