The Spicy Mami by Alexis Green

1 ½ oz of blanco tequila (or reposado from the lowlands is nice too)

½ oz orange liqueur

1 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed

½ oz maple syrup

4-5 slices of fresh ginger

1 – 2 oz Fever-Tree Premium Club Soda

Salt/brown sugar mix

Lime wheel


In a shaker, crush the ginger and add all the ingredients except the soda. Add a generous amount of ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Rim your glass with the mix and double strain into a coupe. Top with soda.
