Bleeding Heart by Matt Boyle


Ingredients:

0.75oz Sombra Mezca

l0.75oz blanco tequila

0.75oz lemon juice

1.25oz beet and pineapple cordial*

5 ml absinthe

2 dashes of Angostura


*Beet pineapple cordial:

Mix together equal parts of fresh beet and pineapple juice.

Blend together an equal amounts by weight of cane sugar.


Method:

Add all ingredients into a shake filled with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.


Garnish:

Pineapple fronds.
